This is #6 of a series of 6 small, abstract, floral paintings from emerging Denver-based artist, Allison Lipp. 

DIMENSIONS
Paper measures 9 x 6 inches but painted portion is 7 x 5 inches
Each piece may have slight measurement imperfections given method of creation

DESCRIPTION
Five light-purple flowers (with dark purple. and red oil pastel accents) set against a bright blue background, bordered by light pink and a hot-pink, oil-pastel frame. Bright green stems, also with oil pastel accents. 

MATERIALS
Acrylic on paper (400 series Strathmore paper | 246 lb.) 
Oil pastel details on top of dried acrylic (not set, handle with care)

SHIPPING
Art will be carefully wrapped in glassine paper and secured in a plastic sleeve
Piece will be shipped in a rigid mailer sandwiched between firm clipboard pieces

DISPLAY RECOMMENDATIONS
This would look great in a floating frame or within a 5x7 inch mat within a frame. Pieces vary slightly so you could even display a couple together! Great for gifting. Exercise caution with oil pastel, as it is not set and can smear. Recommended framed behind glass and with matting to create space between painted surface and glass.
