8" x 6"| Birds of Paradise (8 variations)

Artist note:
I made these on a rainy day in New Orleans. They were inspired by a walk in the Garden District, during which I saw the most beautiful Bird of Paradise.

Title:
Bird of Paradise (Varies: 1-8)

Dimensions:
8 x 6 inches (vertically oriented)

Materials:
Acrylic paint and oil pastel on acid-free, 570 gsm (350 lb.) heavyweight paper
Set with light fixative

Production Date:
October, 2026

Production Location:
Denver, Colorado | USA

Display/Framing Recommendations:
Framed with mat opening to 8 x 6 inches

These works are designed to be displayed in off-the-shelf frames with matting. The painted area is intentionally juuuuust beyond the perimeter of standard mat opening (which when advertised as 8 x 6 inches is really more like 7.5 x 5.5 inches) to allow for easy centering. Signature will show; no white will.

Other Notes:
+ Pieces sold individually
+ Unframed
+ Each piece is signed (in paint) somewhere within the painting, typically in the lower right. Placement of signature takes framing into account.
+ Each piece is also signed, dated, and titled on the back.
+ Mix and match for a fun look!
+ Note that, as with all original art, slight measurement nuances and imperfections (smudges, paper tears) may exist given hand-made nature of production.
+ As with all my works, these are original one-of-one pieces (not prints)
