24" x 36" Abstract Landscape | Acrylic and oil stick on canvas

A rich yellow- and ochre-hued landscape that evokes the hills of Central California, though could be many places in the world. "Novel inspiration" is titled such given it's my first piece in this dimension (24" x 36") and of this color palette. I also love the idea of a scene like this literally inspiring the great authors of California - Steinbeck comes to mind. (Novel inspiration... get it?!)

Shipping & Handling
Please allow 2-4 weeks for shipping, and possibly slightly longer for framed works. Allison will communicate with you before shipping to align on timeline, details like signature on delivery, if you have upcoming travel, etc. Paintings will be shipped with utmost care, first carefully packaged by Allison with glassine paper and other acid-free protective materials as needed. Works are then handed off to FedEx and/or UPS handle professional-grade packaging and shipping. 

Framing
If framing is selected, note that Allison works with local, Denver-based artisans on the construction of real-wood frames and the mounting of the pieces within. Mounting involves drilling through the frame into the wooden crossbars of the canvas, and then adhering D-rings and hanging wire across the back. All materials are weighted to >2x the weight of the finished piece (including frame). Safe installation of framed work is the responsibility of the collector.

+ Piece is signed in lavender on lower-right corner on the front
+ Piece is signed, dated, and titled on the back
+ The unframed version of this painting is slightly warped (stretcher bar quirk), such that one corner of the painting sticks out about 1/2" from the wall. This is not an issue when framed. Price takes this into account. 

Local Pickup

Local pickup helps save on packing materials and shipping cost - thank you for considering this option! Pickup will be at the French Press coffee shop on 12th avenue in Denver, CO. (Congress Park neighborhood). Allison will arrange pickup time with you upon order (you will get a link to an invite with a selection of available times). Pickup must be completed within 3 days of purchasing the piece. Art (and/or frame) will be wrapped in glassine paper and plastic wrap to help ensure smooth transport, but without a box. It is recommended to bring a packing blanket to ensure smooth transport home!
